TVIP-Director is a web-application for the creation and dissemination of multimedia contents organised into playlists and channels.
TVIP-Director is a full-optional CMS for player and display network management enabling real-time/scheduled contents forwarding and allowing for the updating of player sw and configuration from the Centre, thus avoiding site calls.
TVIP-Director features a user-friendly interface for the up-loading of images, TV, slide-shows, video-clips, ticker news and web-sites and more. Easy-to-use editing tools make for effective and highly tailored marketing communication.

The Content Manager Software
TVIP-Director is the application of Dynamic Digital Signage (DDS) technology for the creation and distribution of TV-like channels and schedules, based on typical all-news channels format. TVIP-Director manages:
- CONTENTS: audio/video clips, news feeds, HTML5 applications, in-streaming multicast / unicast applications, etc.
- PLAYLIST: length-customisable multimedia content playlist
- CHANNEL: includes a customised layout and 1 or more content areas within which contents/playlists are broadcast by timing schedule.
- PLAYER: hw+sw appliance receiving channels from the Centre and forwarding same to connected display
- DISPLAY: HD LCD/LED screens, portait and landscape
Contents
TVIP-Director supports mainstream multimedia content formats: audio/video clips, images, HTML5 apps can be uploaded to the centre via web interface with a user-friendly ingestion procedure or via FTP from other content managers. Easy-to-use editing tools for the creation and upload of text, RSS, web pages and digital clocks.
Playlists
Playlist of contents whose viewing sequence is defined via a graphical editor: their length and content can be customised. TVIP-Director allows you to create different types of playlists:
- Generic playlists: support all content types (including meta-contents and streaming);
- Slideshows: image playlists, including animation between slides;
- Audio-playlists: entirely made up of audio-clips;
- Rule-based playlist: general playlists include contents displayed according to pre-defined rules (e.g. number of re-runs);
- Dynamic playlists: viewing sequences differ according to player geo-location and I/O event type.
Channels
Channels are graphic compositions of playlists forwarded to players. An advanced graphical editor allows for the definition of channel layout by drawing boxes within which contents/playlists are displayed.
- Customisable sizing of display boxes, layout orientation, font and colour
- Automatic channel-to-monitor resolution adjustment
- Multiple player/group channel synchronisation for simultaneous display
- Creation of channel sequences by defining start/end of channel broadcasting times for each channel

Support of any type of display
TVIP-Director support TV LCD/Plasma, pro. screens and video-walls (portrait/landscape) for advertising formats. Players can be integrated into pro. chassis, such as portrait/landscape digital totems or integrated panel + main board displays.
