TVIP-E is a specialized product for acquiring TV audio/video signals (both analog and digital) and retransmitting the high-bitrate streams over IP networks.

The encoder employs the MPEG2 encoding standard with state-of-the-art features and functionalities.

The encoder is extremely versatile and can be used as an encoder/transmitter with Analog TV, Digital Terrestrial TV (DTT DVB-T) and Digital Satellite TV (DVB-S) inputs and with Analog and Digital filming systems.

The encoder allows to acquire, convert, store and transmit over IP networks audio/video signals from different sources such as analog video cameras, VHS/SVHS, Radio Frequency inputs (through TV or Satellite tuners), etc.

The PVR model is provided with a video capture card for analog TV and video signals (composite or S-Video). The encoder compresses and retransmits analog TV channels in the MPEG2 format.

Streams are transmitted over IP networks using communication services based on the IP protocol family, both Unicast and Multicast. In particular, RTP protocols are employed.

The SAT model allows to retransmit up to 6 Satellite channels multiplexed on the same transponder.

The DTT model allows to retransmit up to 6 digital terrestrial TV channels multiplexed on the same multiplexer.

Each encoder is provided with up to 3 capture cards, corresponding to a number of channels ranging from 3 (PVR model) to 12 (SAT/DTT models).
