TVIP-CCE is the configurator for the set of encoders of the TVIP platform providing complete control of the state of the encoders and of the transmitted channels.

The IP TV encoding system of the TVIP platform performs streaming of a set of TV channels from different sources such as Satellite and Digital and Analog Terrestrial.

After being authenticated by the configuration server, each active decoder receives from the server a list of channels which it must transmit.

The configuration server owns a list of all possible channels and manages all encoders in order to assign frequencies and possibly update configurations by redistributing channels to authenticated encoders.

The system is designed to have the set of encoders self-organize itself, based on the channel configuration, to manage the selected channels without any hands-on operation.

The TVIP-CCE application provides a wide array of interfaces allowing to perform various procedures on the encoders and the channels to be sent in streaming:

  • Online Channel Preview: check of the actual functioning of the encoders via remote browser

  • Channel Configurator and Simulator: editor of the channels to be configured

  • Online Channel Listing and DB of channel settings

  • Encoder State and time to live
