TVIP-Director

TVIP-Director is an application designed to create television-like channels and programs based on the average all-news channel format.

It is a fully equipped content-manager with on-the-net player management and control functions.

TVIP-Director allows users to build up formats, that is to design same-style areas where independent schedules (channels)  are displayed.
Channels are created with multimedia content sequences (clips) available on video-server or other LIVE sources as SAT and TV, available  to Players.


Contents anywhere anyplace anytime

TVIP-Director allows time-based manage-ment to broadcast live and/or recorded contents (films, videoclips, flash) and other information (messages, slideshows, web contents) on Players: it is possible to define display format and schedule for each Player.

Graphic User Interface

An easy-to-use web interface allows to file and manage contents, to create formats, layouts, programs and schedules. 1-2-3-Click-programming option makes it possible to create, load and check channels on displays.

Contents ingestion

A few mouse clicks make it possible to load multimedia contents, slideshows, video clips and flash contents, news tickets or whole web sites  or build up one’s own commu-nication through easy-to-use editing tools.

Playlist creation

Easy-to-use Mouse Drag&Drop function allows to design schedules where to include multimedia features to be broadcast on the Players according to hourly synchronized schedules.

Schedule programming

An intuitive and user-friendly graphic editor allows defining areas inside the layout in which multimedia content is displayed.
The tool allows inserting playlists composed of audio/video multimedia content (slides, clips, flash, text boxes, texts, graphs, digital clock, links to external sites, etc.). The duration of the display, sizes, fonts, and colors are completely customizable.

Display Manager

TVIP-Player is the TVIP platform component for playing playlists on displays, monitors or LCD TVs at high resolution.
The players are able of managing the horizontal and vertical orientation of monitors. TVIP-Director allows managing each player and display autonomously and independently from the others, as well as creating distributed groups to which the same content can be broadcast simultaneously.

Geographic Distribution

An intuitive synoptic table allows displaying the geographic distribution of groups of installed players. In fact, using the “Google Maps” mapping service the installed displays can be seen on a map, with each display represe
